Client Software Review List

This page describes client software we may review when you connect to Normal Survival, NormalSMP, World Venture Projects game servers. It supplements our Acceptable Use Policy and Security & Abuse Policy.

Effective date: 2026-08-14 · Legal bundle c3e9f1a2-8b47-4d15-9c6e-0a2f7d4b8e91 (v1.3.6)

This is not a ban list, not an allow list, and not a complete inventory of software we may review.

How to read this page

  • Names below are illustrative, public product names (and common families of similar tools). We may add, remove, or regroup them at any time.
  • Listing a name does not mean it is prohibited. Staff decide what is allowed, restricted, or enforced through internal policy. The same name may be treated differently depending on how it is used, which features are enabled, and current server rules.
  • Absence from this page does not mean software is allowed. Unlisted clients, forks, rebrands, private builds, resource packs, injectors, and similar tools may still be reviewed and restricted.
  • We do not publish how we identify client software, what signals we use, or what we actually look for in any given session. Publishing those details would help people evade review.
  • Product, company, and brand names are trademarks of their respective owners. Listing a name is not an accusation against the publisher and does not imply affiliation.

If you want a specific mod or client confirmed before you play, ask staff in Discord or email [email protected]. Do not assume a popular download is permitted.

What we may review

We may review Minecraft client software and related tools you use to connect to the Services, including:

  • Custom clients, "hacked" clients, and utility clients
  • Fabric, Forge, Quilt, NeoForge, and similar loader mods
  • Resource packs, shader packs, and injected overlays that change gameplay information
  • Macros, autoclickers, and external automation
  • Minimap, radar, ESP, x-ray, seed, and world-download tools
  • Chat, reporting, and identity-related modifications
  • Performance, HUD, and quality-of-life mods (review does not mean they are cheats)

We may also treat forks, copies, renamed builds, and "undetected" variants of listed software the same as the named product.

Allowance is decided by us

Whether listed software is allowed is up to Normal Survival, NormalSMP, World Venture Projects staff, not this page.

  • Some listed items are commonly used for performance or accessibility and may be permitted.
  • Some listed items are commonly used for unfair advantage and may be restricted or enforced against.
  • We may allow a product while prohibiting particular features of that product.
  • We may change enforcement without updating every name on this page.
  • Circumvention—hiding, stripping, spoofing, or delaying client software to avoid review—is prohibited under the Security & Abuse Policy even if the underlying tool would otherwise have been allowed.

Enforcement may include kick, mute, warning, temporary or permanent ban, and related-account action, as described in the Terms of Service and Security & Abuse Policy.

Function families we may review

We may review client software that provides, or is advertised as providing, functions such as:

  • Combat assistance (kill aura, aim assist, auto crystal, auto totem, reach)
  • Movement assistance (fly, speed, Jesus, no-fall, step, scaffold, timer, velocity / anti-knockback)
  • Unfair vision (x-ray, fullbright used to find ores, ESP, tracers, chest ESP, entity outlines beyond ordinary shaders)
  • Camera abuse (freecam used to scout through walls or unload areas, spectator-style camera while playing)
  • Automation (autoclick, autofish, automine, baritone-style pathing, macros)
  • Information advantage (seed cracking, structure finders, live player radar, minimap cave/entity radar beyond posted rules)
  • Inventory / container abuse (fast use, printer, steal, store, UI dump tools)
  • Chat-signing, reporting, or identity evasion tools
  • World download, schematic print, or remote base copy tools where restricted by rules

Ordinary performance mods, shaders, and HUD mods may still appear in the name list because we may review client software in those families. Appearance there is not a finding that the software is a cheat.
