Informal resolution (all users)

Contact [email protected] first. Many disputes resolve within 14 business days. Document your username, order IDs, and legal bundle UUID from checkout.

Tier 1 — United States: binding arbitration

If you reside in or habitually use the Services from the United States, except for small claims court or injunctive relief for intellectual property or abuse, any dispute arising from these Services or purchases shall be resolved by binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules.

Class action waiver. You and we waive any right to participate in a class, collective, or representative action to the extent permitted by US law.

Arbitrator authority. The arbitrator may award the same damages as a court, subject to the limitation of liability in the Terms.

Governing law (US tier). Disputes in this tier are governed by the laws of Kentucky | Oregon, United States, without regard to conflict rules, except where preempted by mandatory federal or state consumer law.

Opt-out. Where permitted, you may opt out of arbitration within 30 days of first accepting these terms by written notice to [email protected] with your username and email.

Tier 2 — European Union and United Kingdom: local courts

If you are a consumer in the EEA or UK, nothing in this policy removes your right to bring proceedings in the courts of your country of residence where EU or UK law mandates that forum, or to use applicable alternative dispute resolution schemes.

We are not obliged to participate in EU consumer arbitration boards unless required by law. The European Commission ODR platform is linked from our Impressum.

Tier 3 — Rest of world: Kentucky law and informal resolution

For users outside the United States, EEA, and UK (and not covered by Tier 1 or 2), disputes are governed by the laws of Kentucky | Oregon, United States, excluding conflict-of-law rules, without limiting mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence.

You and we will attempt good-faith informal resolution via [email protected] before formal proceedings. Either party may bring claims in courts of competent jurisdiction where mandatory law allows.

Mandatory local rights (everywhere)

No tier above limits non-waivable rights under the consumer, data protection, or unfair contract terms laws of your jurisdiction. If any part of this policy is void where you live, it is severed for you and the remainder applies to the maximum extent permitted.

Liability cap reference

Claims are subject to the 180-day and monetary caps in the Terms of Service, as limited by mandatory law.
