Relationship
You serve as a volunteer or independent contractor, not as an employee, partner, or joint venturer of World Venture Projects. Unless we expressly state otherwise in writing for a specific paid engagement:
- You are not entitled to employee benefits, workers' compensation, unemployment insurance, or paid leave.
- You control how you perform assigned tasks, subject to our policies and security requirements.
- Paid Staff Members are responsible for their own taxes, filings, and legal obligations in their jurisdiction (including US Form 1099 reporting where applicable).
Nothing in this Agreement creates an employment relationship. If you believe your role should be classified differently, contact [email protected] before accepting paid work.

- Use least-privilege access: only the permissions needed for your role
- Escalate security incidents, exploits, and serious rule violations promptly
- Treat child-safety reports (CSAM, grooming, sexual content involving minors) as highest priority per the Child Safety Policy; escalate immediately and do not tip off suspected offenders
- Document significant administrative actions where our internal procedures require it
- Not use staff powers for personal gain, favoritism, or harassment
Admin access and credentials
Staff access is personal and non-transferable. You must not:

We may log and audit staff actions for security, quality assurance, and dispute resolution.

- Harassment or retaliation against players, staff, or the operator
- Competitive harm: Using insider knowledge to launch or promote competing services that target our community
- Criminal or harmful conduct: DDoS, doxing, unauthorized access, child sexual exploitation, or other conduct covered by our Security & Abuse Policy or Child Safety Policy

Intellectual property and work product
Unless we agree otherwise in writing, all work you create for Normal Survival, NormalSMP, World Venture Projects in your staff capacity—including builds, maps, configs, plugins, code, graphics, documentation, and written content—is work made for hire to the extent permitted by law, or otherwise assigned to World Venture Projects.
You grant us a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, modify, and distribute such work for operating and promoting the Services.
Monitoring
We may monitor staff channels, logs, and administrative actions consistent with our Privacy Policy and applicable law. Do not expect privacy in staff-only systems when monitoring is necessary for security or moderation.

Remedies
You acknowledge that breach of this Agreement—especially sabotage, leaks, or unauthorized access—may cause irreparable harm. We may seek injunctive or equitable relief in addition to other remedies available under law, without posting bond where permitted.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless World Venture Projects from claims arising from your staff conduct, breach of this Agreement, or violation of third-party rights, where permitted by applicable law.
We may refer conduct that appears to violate applicable criminal or computer-misuse laws (including unauthorized access, DDoS, or doxing) to law enforcement or relevant providers. We do not guarantee prosecution or civil recovery.
No guarantee of continued role
Staff roles are privileges, not property rights. We may reorganize teams, change permissions, or end volunteer or contractor arrangements at any time.
Changes
We may update this Agreement by posting a new version with a new effective date and bundle UUID. Continued staff activity after the effective date constitutes acceptance where permitted. Material changes may require renewed acknowledgment before retaining elevated access.
